Jed and his team are usually the first people a prospect speaks to at Slightly Strategic. They runs the early conversations, works out whether there’s a real project there, and handles scoping, proposals and the relationship-building before anything reaches the account team. By the time the strategy team picks up the work, the questions about fit and scope are already answered.
Jed spent close to two decades in enterprise technology sales across Australia and Asia-Pacific before joining us. Nearly ten years as a senior account executive selling ERP software into government and large enterprise, then a few years managing strategic enterprise accounts for a data and analytics vendor. He knows how enterprise buying decisions actually get made, and he’s seen plenty of deals that went nowhere.
Jed will tell a prospect early if we’re not the right fit for the work. That costs us some deals. It also keeps us honest.
